Annual General Meeting, Senior Citizen Association of Hulu Langat (PWEHL)



Selection session in AGM 2012



On May 16, 2012, Wednesday at Dewan Besar Singgah Santai Resort, has held 5th Annual General Meeting of the Senior Citizens Association of Hulu Langat. 80 people of Association members attending the meeting this time to ensure the successful of this event.

Before the opening ceremony carried out, a slide show of PWEHL activities were held. Next, the opening speech for the meeting was delivered by Prof. Noor Ibrahim Mohamed Sakian which was the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Kuala Lumpur Branch, UKM.  All participants on the day took place and ready to carry out their responsibility to determine the direction of this association in the future.

In this meeting, there set a selection of new committee members as the committee members before had reached the end of their services. The selections for the senior positions will be done using the method of secret voting, except for ordinary committee members who are still using the hands raise. After the selection process is completed in about two hours, a list of new committee members were in place. Then, ceremonial of duties surrender took place at the same time. Smooth conduct of the meeting is due to the cooperation and professional attitude of all participants in attendance.

Finally, an official appointment will be held by the association, through presentation of a formal letter of appointment to all new committee members in a separate ceremony later.
