This association has been established and registered officially on July 30, 2007 and by registration number 1466-07-SEL. It is an association comprising of senior citizens around the Hulu Langat and nearby areas. This association has also been developed from time to time whereby the total of membership at present is 339 people and is expected to increase in future.

ASSOCIATION NAME
This organization is to be known by the name Senior Citizens Association of Hulu Langat.


VISION
A healthy, active and productive elderly force.

MISSION
To deliver a new generation of socially well-balanced and independent elderly that is at the same time active and productive built on a lifestyle, world-view and culture of mutual cooperation, a commitment to physical fitness, mental health and spiritual devotion.

PLACE OF BUSINESS
The registered address and place of business of the Association of Lot 2603, Batu 14 Jalan Hulu Langat, 43100 Selangor Darul Ehsan, and address for correspondence is also the same. Place of business of the registered postal address of the Association shall not be altered without the prior permission of the Registration of Association.

FLAG, SYMBOL & BADGES
Symbol of the Society shall be used on all letterheads, flags, badges and other media devices as well as messages about its activities and existence. The logo depicting a healthy and active senior citizens is made up of the following components:
  • the heart symbol in red which denotes a healthy heart.
  • the golden circle on the left side of the heart, which means the active elderly persons.
  • the golden pass sign symbolizing a sound level of  health and vitality of the elderly maintained at all times.
  • the slogan in Bahasa over the top of the logo meaning "Vitality as the Core of Healthiness"
  • The acronym in Bahasa at the bottom of the logo translated as "EMAS LANGAT" which stands for Senior Citizens Association of Hulu Langat.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES
  1. To promote various programs and activities based on whether the health and vitality of each member or through a wider network of partnerships and collaboration with other organizations, companies and associations registered with the same objective.
  2. Developing a model of excellent people who embrace a healthy and balanced lifestyle in terms of character, physical, mental and spiritual.
  3. Obtain the building itself Society, land, property and equipment and are not fixed, movable and immovable property, and tangible and intangible assets that contribute towards achieving the goals by the Association to buy, rent, lease, grant assistance is requested, donations, bequest or other lawful means in accordance with law.
  4. Offer and accept the context and framework for partnerships a source of assistance in a variety of programs and activities that can stimulate and accelerate development and social welfare.
